Trau 40AUSTI is a Norwegian company that has produced and sold products associated with Norwegian farming and coastal culture since their start in 1992.  Examples are the boats in half-model IOD (International One Design), Colin Archer and ”The America Boat” Restoration.  Various types of wooden bowls and old-fashioned drinking utensils are also among the well-known products, which are all made from high-quality wood.

In 2006 the board of directors of Vigsnes Mining Area entered into an agreement with AUSTI to help bring awareness of Vigsnes and its history to the public.  It was decided that elegantly designed commemorative collectibles based on ore samples from the mines and historical information on its connection to the Statue of Liberty would be desirable.  The Liberty Stone was born.
After a long development process, AUSTI is now proud to offer the Liberty Stone, a truly unique gift, beautiful in design and rich in history.

In the U.S. the Liberty Stone is distributed by High Value Collectibles Inc. in Malvern, PA.
